One medieval passage, interpreted without hiding what is modern.
The owning source is Hávamál 138-139 in GKS 2365 4to, fol. 6v. The poem does not name the tree Yggdrasill or describe the physical shapes of the runes. The supported pose among the branches, clothing, colours and setting are modern artistic adaptations. The Latin title uses the project's modern Munthe-Saxon-inspired font; the separate rune line represents the attested spelling uþin from the early-eighth-century Ribe inscription DR EM85;151B.
